PANACEA is concerned with the privacy of the PANACEA platform (the ”Platform”) users, and uses its best efforts to protect it. By means of cookies and other tracers, PANACEA collects and processes personal data relating to the Members. “Members” means the users, who have both registered and not registered with the Platform.

This Cookie policy (the “Cookie Policy”) describes how the personal data of Members will be collected, by means of cookies and other tracers, and how these data will be processed.

The Members may at any time modify or withdraw their consent by accessing the cookie settings on the Platform or adjusting the settings in their browser. PANACEA maintains appropriate records of consent in accordance with applicable legal obligations.

5. Who are the recipients of the data collected through the cookies?

The data collected through the cookies that are strictly necessary to supply the service at the Member’s request, will not be disclosed to third parties, except to the Platform hosting service provider which stores all of the data.

The data relating to performance, to audience measurement, and to conversion tracking, may be used by PANACEA or by a third party. The recipients of the data collected by means of the cookies are: Google, Inspectlet, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, each recipient receiving the data that concern it.

The data collected through the cookies may also be disclosed:to individuals authorised by PANACEA to process these data, and who have first signed a non- disclosure agreement, including to PANACEA employees;
to PANACEA’s external counsels and advisors: lawyers, accountants, statutory auditors, etc., which are bound by an obligation of secrecy;
to authorities: in accordance with the law, further to an order from a court and/or further to a court ruling;

to any third party, in the event of a merger by way of acquisition, the assignment of all or part of assets, a direct or indirect change of control, or any other form of restructuring implemented by PANACEA.

Upon the Member’s first visit to the Platform, they will be presented with a cookie banner requesting your consent to the use of non-essential cookies. The Members may withdraw their consent or modify their cookie preferences at any time by adjusting the settings in their browser or device.

8. Cookie Retention Periods

Cookies placed on the Members’s device are retained for a maximum period of thirteen (13) months from the date of their initial placement. After this period, cookies are either deleted or renewed upon renewed consent.

The personal data collected through these cookies are retained for a maximum period of twenty-five (25) months, after which such data shall be either deleted or anonymised, unless a longer retention period is required under applicable laws or justified by a specific legal obligation.

9. Changes to This Cookie Policy

PANACEA reserves the right to amend this Cookie Policy at any time. The revised version shall be published on the Platform with an indication of the date of the last update.
